SALLY'S SAFE AND CONNECTED TRAVEL

Travel together.
Paced with intention.

Carefully curated group journeys for the chronic illness community - where every detail is designed around your energy, your comfort, and joy.

Group travel is one of the most powerful antidotes to the isolation that so often accompanies chronic illness. These trips are designed so that you can show up exactly as you are - pacing tools built in, rest built in, community built in. No pressure to keep up. Just the world, at your pace, with people who get it.

Every hotel on these trips is pre-screened for chronic illness accessibility and includes HEPA filters in all rooms. We ask that all travellers mask with an N95 through the flight, test before leaving home and on arrival, and mask during all group activities. All group meals will be taken outdoors.

UPCOMING GROUP TRIPS

Your next adventure awaits

Two extraordinary journeys - one by sea, one by land - both planned with the chronic illness traveller at the center of every decision.

GROUP CRUISE  -  10 NIGHTS
Japan & South Korea
aboard
Explora III
26 April - 6 May 2028  -  Tokyo to Tokyo

Sail the waters of Japan and South Korea on one of the world's most beautifully appointed luxury ships — Explora III by Explora Journeys. This 10-night voyage traces a route of extraordinary cultural depth: from the energy of Tokyo to the ancient grandeur of Hiroshima, the vibrant port of Busan, and the healing thermal waters of Beppu. Two nights in Osaka give us time to breathe, explore, and pace ourselves without rushing. All of this, from the comfort of an Ocean Terrace Suite with your own private outdoor space and the sea just outside your door.

This is not a typical group cruise. Sally will be on board as your group host — available for pacing check-ins, nervous system support, and the kind of thoughtful guidance that makes the difference between a trip that depletes you and one that genuinely restores you.

WAITLIST NOW OPEN

LAND TRIP  -  11 DAYS
Japan, paced for you
26 June - 6 July 2027 -  Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka

Japan is Sally's most deeply researched destination for chronic illness travel — and this 11-day land journey is being designed from the ground up with the spoonie traveller in mind. We'll spend 5 nights in Tokyo, 3 nights in Osaka, and 3 nights in Kyoto, with bullet train logistics handled for you and thoughtfully spaced days built around your energy, not a checklist.

If you've never been to Japan before, you'll get a little taster of some of the most beloved attractions, a few beautiful off-the-beaten-path experiences, and plenty of time to rest and soak up the atmosphere. If you've been before, you probably won't be repeating anything — and you'll get to discover lots of new things.

The full itinerary is currently in development and booking will open in September. Priority booking will be offered to the waitlist first — so if Japan has been calling you, now is the time to put your name down.

Join the waitlist to receive priority access when booking opens, plus full itinerary and pricing details as they become available.

WHY TRAVEL WITH SALLY

Travel that honours your body

I'm Dr. Sally Riggs — a licensed psychologist, chronic illness traveller, and Fora travel advisor. I've walked these airports in a wheelchair, with my mask and stoggles on. I've tested the hotels, researched the routes, and learned — sometimes the hard way — what makes travel sustainable for people like us. When you travel with me, you're not just booking a trip. You're travelling with someone who has done the work, knows the risks, and will be right there with you every step of the way.
